This Friday, our studio will officially open. No more drum-rolls, no more bridging to a chorus - this is the actual chorus; it's the cymbal smash.
Or is it?
I've thought about this long and hard. I mean, I've been here since January so I've had some time. It's been 243 days, and I'll be the first to tell you that I've waited for this Friday for the longest time. This is the fourth studio I've moved into, and it's the most beautiful studio I've ever been in. I'm proud to be unveiling it. I want people to see it. I can't wait for the day to come.
But this is not the climax. It's not a peak to a trough. It's far from it; or at least, I hope so.
I want it to be a pistol start. I want it to be the big-bang to the universe. I hope people will remember it as the day of "when it all began." - the big beginning of more things to come.
Some people ask me why I want to still have an 'opening' when I've already been here for so long. This is why. So that's there's a mark, to the get set.
